Rico's is a great spot for Mexican food in the mechanicsville area! They have a pretty expansive menu, so you will find something for everyone. Service has always been great and food comes out pretty quickly, even when they're busy. Portion sizes are pretty large, and most of the time, my boyfriend and I wind up sharing a meal and enjoying the chips and salsa and cheese dip! The restaurant itself is not super big, but can still accommodate a decent crowd and they have larger tables to seat large groups as well.

This was an amazing experience! I had a great lunch and a sangria and got out of there, with tip, for $16!! It was delicious and my waiter was amazing!!

I regret getting this burrito because it is really JUMBO! I asked them to make it extra tasty however, it's not the burrito that I've always ordered from Mexican restaurants. The service was great though. Maybe I'll just get their tacos next time. Highly recommended.

Wonderful meal. And service was good. We haven't been here since the pandemic. But came out today. I had the chicken enchiladas and spouse had beef enchiladas. So very good. And the chips are homemade here. And you can tell. I had too many dipped in the salsa while waiting for our meal. Which came out in a reasonable amount of time. A pleasant dining experience.

This was our first visit and the service was fast. We were served chips and salsa which was mild but tasty.we ordered enchiladas and fajitas both were made with quality ingredients and the price was ok. Will return to try other items from the menu.
